Education is the most powerful tool with which the entire World can be changed.
How was ‘Empowher’ conceptualized?
Did you know the literacy rate of women in India is only 65%?
It has been said that when a girl child is provided with the right opportunities, she can take on the World! Achieving gender parity in literacy is critical in order for any society to develop. If only this skew could be tilted…Thus, ‘EMPOWHER’ was born.
Rotaract 3190 took it upon itself to sponsor the education of 3 girl students, for an entire year. What makes ‘EMPOWHER’ all the more special, is that it was implemented using the funds from the Rotaract Annual Conference 21-22, & Rota-Camp 21-22.
